Make-Ahead Breakfast Pizzas

A quick and delicious way to start the morning!Make-Ahead Breakfast Pizzas are always in my freezer. They make school mornings a breeze!

Ingredients

6 english muffins, sliced in half
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 teaspoon garlic salt
1 pound ground pork sausage
6 eggs
2 tablespoons milk
shredded cheese (a few ounces)

Instructions To Prepare:

Mix the butter and garlic salt together in a bowl and set aside.

Cook and brown the sausage in a skillet. Drain the sausage to remove the grease, then return the sausage to the pan.

Beat the eggs and milk together and add to the sausage mixture. Cook over medium heat until the eggs are cooked, but still slightly "damp" looking.

Brush a thin layer of the garlic butter on one half of a muffin.

Add a big spoonful of the sausage/egg mixture, then top with a sprinkling of cheese.

(If you do this when the sausage is still slightly warm, the cheese will adhere better and stay in place.) Repeat with remaining muffins.

Carefully wrap each pizza in plastic wrap then place them in the refrigerator and allow them to cool completely.

Place the muffins in a large ziploc freezer bag and store in the freezer.

To Heat from Frozen:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Unwrap muffins and place them on a baking sheet. Bake in the oven for 15-17 minutes.
